Due to recent drought conditions, the Leander Fire Department encourages all residents to use precautions and be prepared in the slight chance that a fire should occur in the community.

Emergency Plans

Families should have emergency plans which include posting local emergency numbers in a visible place, making plans for pets, packing an emergency kit including medications, and knowing where you will go and how to get there. Family members should have a designated safe place to meet, and a method of contacting each other should they be separated.
